Because higher education and research are expected to play critical roles in knowledge societies, their effectiveness became an important issue for the stakeholders such as students and their parents, administrators and faculty members, employers, the general public and the governments. For many years, higher education has been at the forefront of development aimed at transforming deemed insufficient university practices and governance. This sparked a wave of national and, transnational effective practices in terms of macro-systems level, then the meso-institutional and disciplinary levels, and finally the micro-classroom and campus levels.
As this trend has developed, effective practices has increased in many higher education systems across and within countries. It is anticipated that colleges and universities would provide effective studies and practices to contribute disproportionately to the well-being of their states and communities. Within this context, The Journal of Effective Educational Practices will cover an in-depth examination of effective practices of higher education institutions, their justifications, the theories and doctrines that underpinned them and the ways in which they evolved over time
Aim and Scope
The Journal of Effective Educational Practices is an international peer-reviewed journal devoted to postsecondary education-related issues. Its mission is to influence the field of research on educational program effectiveness, access and retention, student success, equity, faculty issues, institutional productivity, assessment, interventions, education policy, institutional management and performance, and teaching and learning in higher education from a disciplinary or multidisciplinary perspective. We publish high-quality empirical research on higher education’s primary functions and the university’s effective contribution to society. The Journal of Effective Educational Practices can assist researchers, policymakers, and administrators in learning more about a variety of postsecondary effective education issues. The Journal of Effective Educational Practices is a rolling basis journal.
